Experienced Float Plane Pilot Needed for Remote Alaskan Lodge

Established in 1975, No See Um Lodge offers a truly off-the-grid Alaskan experience, accessible only by air or water. The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and responsible pilot with a passion for aviation and a strong commitment to safety. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience operating in remote Alaskan conditions is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of lodge aircraft, adhering to all FAA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Transport guests to and from fishing destinations, demonstrating expert piloting skills in challenging weather conditions, including high winds, low visibility, and varying ceilings.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, assisting with loading and unloading gear, embarking and disembarking, and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable flight experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of aircraft.
- Assist with daily operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating
- Single Engine Sea Rating
- Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time, including:
- 1,000 hours in complex aircraft
- 300 hours float plane time
- 100 hours in a De Havilland Beaver on floats
- Second Class Medical Certificate
- Previous experience flying in Alaska is highly desirable

Season and Schedule:
The position commences immediately and continues through the first week of October. Pilots are expected to work a seven-day week for the duration of the season.
