Executive Jet Management Pilot in Command - G450 (Atlanta, GA)
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a G450 aircraft based in Atlanta, GA (KPDK). This is a prestigious opportunity to join a pioneering leader in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services, supported by the world’s largest private aviation infrastructure. This three-pilot account is further supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician.
Purpose of Position:
The Pilot in Command holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC adheres to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience to clients.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Confirms crewing and trip assignments meet all company and regulatory standards.
- Completes comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance assessments for every flight assignment.
- Employs the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to conduct required briefings, thereby mitigating operational risks.
- Strictly adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborates with company personnel as needed. Fulfills the role of Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Performs all pre-flight aircraft checks, including evaluating maintenance status, to guarantee the aircraft is mission-ready. Documents all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Ensures all aircraft ground servicing (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and completed in accordance with SOPs.
- Conducts thorough passenger briefings as required by company policy and regulations. Provides the highest level of customer service and addresses the specific needs of all passengers, including those with physical challenges.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to ensure clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during routine, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides premium service to owners and passengers, actively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Investigates and resolves service deviations promptly and effectively.
- Collaborates closely with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to deliver a consistent and superior service experience to owners and passengers. Resolves any conflicts or challenges in a professional and acceptable manner.
- Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains all regulatory and company-required training and currency of experience.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reports all safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Years of Experience:
4-6 years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is strongly preferred.
- Must hold an FAA Type Rating in the applicable fleet (G450).
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
