Pilot in Command – Gulfstream G450
Full-Time – Scottsdale, AZ
Jet Linx is seeking qualified Pilot in Command candidates for a Heavy jet aircraft operating under Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate should reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of the designated home base.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for preparing and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Total PIC Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions
The Pilot in Command will perform the following key responsibilities:
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policy and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre/post-flight reports.
- Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily available.
- Hold and maintain a current 1st Class FAA medical certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational scenarios.
- Embody Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Other Requirements
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in the aircraft type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current passport.
- Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or have the ability to obtain one.
- Possess a current 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Hold an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally to countries including but not limited to the EU, Canada, and the Caribbean.
- Ability to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Work is primarily conducted in and around aircraft and airport terminals.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Compensation
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $195,000 to $251,000. The actual base salary offered is dependent upon factors such as geographic location, aircraft size (relevant to crew positions), and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
