Regional Chief Pilot - Northeast Region
Executive Jet Management (EJM) seeks a highly qualified and experienced individual to assume the role of Regional Chief Pilot for the Northeast region. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the successful operation of EJM's Part 91/135 operations while also potentially serving as a flight crewmember on an as-needed basis.
Purpose of the Position:
The Regional Chief Pilot is responsible for overseeing all pilot-related activities in the Northeast region, encompassing New York Metro. This includes managing pilot performance, recruiting and retaining top talent, and serving as the primary point of contact for aircraft owners regarding pilot-related matters. The Regional Chief Pilot reports directly to the Part 119 Designated Chief Pilot.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for pilots and crew members, addressing questions, concerns, and opportunities related to safe flight operations.
- Ensure pilot and crew compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Foster a strong communication and collaboration culture within the pilot team, prioritizing fitness for duty and effective cockpit management.
- Regularly engage with pilots, both on-site and remotely, to mitigate potential risks and facilitate problem-solving.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Owner Services, Sales, Human Resources, Safety, Fleet Maintenance, etc.) during account, aircraft, and pilot onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate staffing, training, and flight currency for all accounts.
- Act as the primary contact for aircraft owners regarding all pilot-related matters.
- Support the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and other initiatives.
- Manage pilot involvement in aviation incidents or events, ensuring accurate reporting and timely follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Lead Pilot to provide mentorship and guidance to new hires during their initial year of employment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Flight Operations, Dispatch, Operational Control, or a related field.
- Thorough understanding of FAA regulations governing Part 91, Part 135, and Part 119.
- Familiarity with IACO SARPS and international operations.
- Self-motivated, high-achiever with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in global Part 135 operations.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Pilot license (CPL or ATPL).

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $355,000
