Regional Chief Pilot - Northeast
Executive Jet Management (EJM) is seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Chief Pilot to lead and manage pilots in the Northeast region, serving as a primary point of contact for all Part 91/135 operations. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and oversee flight operations within a dynamic and expanding territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for pilots and crew members, addressing operational questions, concerns, and opportunities.
- Ensure meticulous adherence to company and regulatory policies and procedures by all pilots and crew members.
- Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration among pilots, promoting team cohesion and robust cockpit relationship management.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for accounts, aircraft, and pilots, including interviewing, training, and compliance activities.
- Partner effectively with Owner Services, Sales, Human Resources, Safety, Fleet Maintenance, and other stakeholders to guarantee consistent staffing and mission readiness, encompassing training and flight currency.
- Act as a primary liaison to aircraft owners, addressing all pilot-related inquiries and concerns with the highest level of professionalism.
- Support the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations in developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, as well as contributing to other strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with Lead Pilots to provide mentorship and support to new hire pilots during their first year, facilitating seamless integration and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Aviation Management, or equivalent experience.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
- 10+ years of experience in Flight Operations, Dispatch, Operational Control, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAA regulations governing Part 91, Part 135, and Part 119.
- Familiarity with IACO SARPS and International operations is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a remote environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in global Part 135 operations.
Location:
This position offers flexibility in location, with preference given to candidates residing within the defined territory: New York (non-NYC Metro), Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
Compensation & Benefits:
EJM offers a competitive base salary range of $200,000 - $355,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
