Cabin Crew Operations Manager
The Cabin Crew Operations Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the cabin crew workforce to ensure seamless operations, high performance, and compliance with corporate, safety, and regulatory standards. This individual equips crew members with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional in-flight service, fostering a culture of professionalism and excellence while maintaining operational efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upholds safety, security, and regulatory compliance in line with flight operations objectives and company standards.
- Applies environmental best practices to support sustainability initiatives.
- Ensures sufficient and efficient cabin crew deployment to meet operational demands, including crisis and ad-hoc requirements.
- Collaborates with Workforce Planning and Crew Tracking & Control (CTC) to optimize manpower and maintain operational continuity.
- Provides absent crew with policy, regulatory, and operational updates to ensure readiness.
- Addresses Flight Time Limitation (FTL), Safety Emergency Procedures (SEP), and irregular operation requirements.
- Manages crew discipline, performance, and professional development while fostering industrial harmony.
- Engages stakeholders to resolve issues, improve operations, and maintain timely responses to the Voyage reporting system feedback.
- Oversees the handling of complaints and compliments regarding cabin crew with professionalism.
- Organizes events and initiatives to promote crew welfare, harmony, and engagement.
- Represents In-Flight Services in Safety Review Committee meetings and other forums as required.
- Conducts In-Flight Service Observation flights to uphold service standards.
- Manages operations team and promoting effective communication channels with the cabin crew workforce to maintain harmony and good working relationships.
- Oversees departmental budgets to ensure that all activities and expenses are within the approved budget with optimum cost management for the department to achieve operational requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager Cabin Crew, In-Flight Services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, Business Administration, or a related field with seven (7) years of working experience in the aviation industry; or
- Diploma in any field of study with eight (8) years of working experience in the aviation industry.
Areas of Experience:
- Broad knowledge of cabin crew operations, in-flight service standards, and understanding of aviation policies and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and take responsibility.
- Able to strategize and develop business plans and budgets.
- Proficient in computer applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
