While we prioritize fun and teamwork, we also understand the demanding nature of this role. Cabin Crew members will be on their feet for extended periods, working irregular hours across multiple sectors, handling customer inquiries and conflicts, ensuring cabin cleanliness, and assisting with ground operations.
The ability to remain calm and assertive is crucial, especially in emergency situations. Cabin Crew members are expected to provide clear instructions, de-escalate tense situations, and enforce safety regulations with confidence.
Appearance and Grooming Standards:
AirAsia promotes a culture of individuality, allowing Cabin Crew members to express their personal style. While hairstyles can be customized, they must be presentable.
Good grooming is essential for all AirAsia Cabin Crew members. This includes:
- Flawless skin (free of acne marks)
- No visible marks on hands and legs
- Absence of braces
- Well-maintained, healthy-looking hair (Men may have long hair, but may be required to have short hair if hired)
Physical Requirements:
- Minimum Height:
- Ladies: 157cm barefoot
- Men: 170cm barefoot
- Minimum Arm Reach: 210cm
Age and Experience:
Candidates must be 18 years or older. Previous experience is not required, but a passion for customer service and a desire to contribute to a positive travel experience are essential.
Working Hours:
Cabin Crew working hours are based on productivity. The more shifts taken, the higher the earnings potential.

- Copy of educational certificate (Minimum SPM with 2 credits including English and pass Bahasa Malaysia - for Malaysian nationals)
- Copy of higher educational certificates (for non-Malaysian nationals)
- Copy of valid passport/IC
- Copy of vaccination certificate
- Headshot and full body photo
- TOEIC with a minimum score of 650 (If SPM English is not a credit)
Dress Code:
Office attire is required. For females, a knee-length skirt is mandatory.
