HEMS Pilot – Norwich, Norfolk
A leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police, and offshore sectors seeks a highly skilled and experienced HEMS Pilot to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This challenging and rewarding role offers diverse flying experiences across various disciplines, including HEMS and NVIS operations utilizing the H145 D3 helicopter.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of the H145 D3 helicopter in diverse and demanding HEMS and NVIS environments.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 1000 hours as pilot in command (PIC) of aircraft, with 500 hours PIC on twin-turbine helicopters; OR 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations, including 500 hours PIC under supervision and 100 hours PIC on twin-turbine helicopters.
- Minimum 2000 hours total helicopter experience.
- 500 hours of operational experience in twin-turbine helicopters in an environment comparable to the intended role.
- 20 hours of VMC night flying as PIC.
- Current or recent HEMS experience.
- Proven experience with Night Vision Goggles (NVG) flight operations.
Qualifications Required:
- UK ATPL(H) license.
- Fluency in English.
- Valid driving license and passport.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- EC145 instrument rating.
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
