Pilot-in-Command (PIC) – Cessna Citation CE-560XLS

Gary Jet Center, Inc., a leading full-service aviation company in the Chicagoland area (KGYY), seeks a highly qualified Pilot-in-Command for its Cessna Citation CE-560XLS. This role involves both Part 91 owner operations and on-demand Part 135 charter flights. Candidates ideally residing within a two-hour radius of Gary/Chicago Airport (KGYY) are preferred.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all flight assignments. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Adherence to all company General Operating Manuals (GOM), Flight Operations Manuals, FAA regulations, aircraft flight manuals, and other pertinent instructions.
Comprehensive flight planning, including weather briefing and acquisition of necessary operational and special instruction information.
Pre-flight inspection of the aircraft, ensuring its readiness for flight including proper loading, equipment checks, and crew assignments.
Supervised loading and distribution of cargo and passengers, maintaining strict adherence to weight and balance limitations as defined in the Aircraft Flight Manual.
Operation of the aircraft at optimal altitudes, considering factors such as turbulence, oxygen requirements, and passenger comfort.
Reporting to the Chief Pilot on all aspects of flight assignments, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

ATP Certificate
First-Class Medical Certificate
Current US Passport
CE-560XLS Type Rating (preferred, but not required)
Minimum Flight Time: 3000 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 2000 hours
Instrument Time: 150 hours
Jet/Turbine Time: 500 hours
