Cabin Crew - Helsinki Base

Jettime is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Cabin Crew member to join its team at the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL) base in Helsinki, Finland. As Cabin Crew, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers while delivering exceptional customer service, creating a memorable and positive onboard experience.

Jettime supplies aircrafts and crew to major Nordic tour operators, including TUI and Tjäreborg, and collaborates with Northern European airlines such as SAS, Finnair, and Air Greenland.

This is a full-time, temporary position for five months with the potential for permanent employment, directly with Jettime Oy. The role requires flexibility, as working hours follow a schedule provided 14 days in advance and may include all hours and days of the week, including nights and holidays. The position involves frequent overnight stays away from the home base.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of all passengers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, creating a positive and memorable experience.

• Adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 20 years of age.
• Fluency in Finnish and English; proficiency in Swedish is preferred. Additional languages are advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of work experience, preferably in the service or healthcare industries (e.g., travel guide, receptionist, shop assistant, nurse, social worker).
• Excellent physical and mental health, essential for managing the demands of the training course and the job.
• Ability to pass an aeromedical examination and a drug & alcohol test.
• Height between 160-195 cm.
• Valid EU passport with at least six months validity at the start of the training course.
• Ability to swim 200 meters unaided.
• Ability to reach the departure gate at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL) within 90 minutes during standby duties.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and provide documentation of whereabouts and activities for the past five years, with a clean criminal record.
• Willingness to adhere to Jettime uniform regulations and policies; visible tattoos must be approved prior to employment.
• Service-minded, flexible, and resilient.
• Positive attitude towards the service industry.
• Efficient, punctual, and adaptable to changes.
• Good situational awareness.
• Excellent cooperation skills and ability to work independently.
• Attentive to surroundings with a focus on customer well-being.
• Prior Cabin Crew experience is an advantage.

Training:

Jettime provides a four-week training program at its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. Accommodation and one set of return tickets to Copenhagen (for the training period) and lunch during training are provided. The course covers first aid, safety, theory of flight, communication, cooperation, sales, and service. Successful completion of the course and a background check are required for employment. The course is free of charge, and upon successful completion, a completion bonus equivalent to one month's base salary is awarded.

Compensation & Benefits:

Jettime offers a fixed base salary, per diem allowances, compensation for holiday, Sunday, and nighttime work, and sales commission. Employees of Jettime Oy also benefit from occupational health care. Terms and conditions are governed by the Jettime Oy Cabin Crew collective agreement.
