Cabin Crew Opportunities: SAS – Scandinavian Airlines
SAS is expanding its operations and invites dedicated professionals to join the team as Cabin Crew (Air Hosts/Hostesses) across Scandinavia, including specific opportunities for Air Stewards in Copenhagen. Positions are available at base locations in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Bergen.
Role Overview
As a member of the SAS Cabin Crew, the successful candidate will ensure onboard safety, deliver exceptional service, and contribute to creating memorable travel experiences. Air Steward roles may include additional responsibilities in premium service and onboard dining for candidates with relevant hospitality backgrounds.
Minimum Requirements

Age: Minimum 18 years old (21 years old for Norway base locations).

Education: Completed high school or equivalent.

Physical: Height between 160 cm and 190 cm (without shoes).

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a customer-facing role.

Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Certifications: Strong swimming skills and a valid EU passport allowing worldwide travel.

Flexibility: Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Compliance: Meet local residency/commuting requirements for the selected base and adhere to SAS uniform regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hospitality, sales, food and beverage, restaurants, hotels, catering, or events is considered an advantage. While previous Cabin Crew experience is beneficial, it is not required for all positions. Experienced Cabin Crew candidates must hold a valid EASA Attestation and Medical, with at least one year of continuous experience as Senior Cabin Crew within the past five years.
Security and Medical Requirements
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of the following:

Comprehensive background checks: Security assessment, security interview, 5-year background check, reference checks, and a clean police record.

Medical standards: Good physical and mental health with vision of +/- 0.7 (with or without correction). Candidates must obtain medical approval per EASA regulations.

Drug and alcohol testing: Successful completion of blood and urine samples.

Authority approval: Candidates must be approved by relevant aviation authorities to operate within airport security restricted areas.

Training: Successful completion of the company-mandated Cabin Crew training course.

Recruitment Process
The recruitment process includes an application and online assessment, video introduction, Assessment Center, background and security checks, medical examinations, and Cabin Crew training. Upcoming training courses are scheduled for fall 2026 and spring 2027.
