SAS is expanding its operations and invites passionate individuals to join the team as Cabin Crew, Air Hosts, and Air Stewards. With opportunities available across Scandinavia—including Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Bergen—successful candidates will contribute to a legacy of safety, exceptional service, and memorable travel experiences.

Position Overview

As a member of the SAS cabin crew, the successful candidate will represent a leading Scandinavian airline, ensuring onboard safety and delivering superior customer service. Air Steward roles may include specialized responsibilities in premium dining and service delivery for those with relevant hospitality backgrounds.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18 years (21 years for Norway-based positions).
  • Completed high school education or equivalent.
  • Height between 160 cm and 190 cm (without shoes).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong swimming proficiency.
  • Possession of a valid EU passport enabling worldwide travel.
  • Availability to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Compliance with local residency and commuting requirements for the chosen base.
  • Adherence to SAS uniform regulations.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Experience in hospitality, sales, food and beverage, catering, hotels, or events is considered an advantage. Previous Cabin Crew experience is beneficial but not required for all positions. Experienced Cabin Crew candidates must provide a valid EASA Attestation and Medical, with at least one year of continuous experience as Senior Cabin Crew within the last five years.

Security and Medical Compliance

Employment is contingent upon successfully passing the following:

  • Security assessment, including a 5-year background check, reference checks, and an exhaustive police criminal record certificate.
  • Medical certification meeting EASA standards, including vision requirements (+/- 0.7 with or without correction).
  • Drug and alcohol testing (blood and urine analysis).
  • Aviation authority approval for access to airport security restricted areas.
  • Successful completion of company-mandated Cabin Crew training.

Recruitment Process
