Lear 45/75 Captain
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year
Job Summary:
JetRight seeks a highly skilled and experienced Captain to command our Lear 45/75 aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, comfortable, and punctual operation of company aircraft, acting as Pilot-in-Command on assigned trips as directed by flight operations management. This role demands exceptional communication and customer service skills, enabling the Captain to interact professionally with diverse clientele. The position requires up to 80% travel, with an estimated flight time of 300-450 hours annually. The Captain will consistently strive for excellence in all aspects of performance, ensuring the safe and professional fulfillment of client travel needs.
Essential Functions:
- Adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and Operations Specifications.
- Exercise sound judgment in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.
- Active participation in the decision-making process for safe aircraft operation.
- Accurate assessment of current and anticipated flight environments, proactively identifying and mitigating operational threats or errors.
- Timely and effective exchange of information, ideas, and instructions with crew and ground personnel.
- Efficient task management to optimize overall crew performance.
- Fostering teamwork, professionalism, and mentorship within the flight crew.
- Cultivation of a safe and collaborative cockpit environment, including the mentoring of junior crewmembers.
- Successful completion of all required company and FAA proficiency checks and training courses.
- Upholding JetRight's positive image in accordance with company policies.
- Performance of other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with airplane multiengine class rating and English Proficiency endorsement.
- Minimum 3,000 hours total time.
- Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command time.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (RR).
- Current FAA first-class medical certificate.
- US citizenship or legal authorization to work in the US.
- Current passport or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules; residence must allow for a two-hour response time to dispatch calls during assigned duty periods.
- Minimum age of 23 years.
- Clean operational record (no accidents, incidents, or enforcement actions in the last three years).
Preferred Qualifications:
- LR-45 or EMB-500 type rating.
- Minimum 500 hours turbine time.
- FAR Part 91/135 flight department experience.
- International operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in aviation or a business-related field.
- More than 250 hours as PIC in Learjet 45/75, Embraer Phenom 100, or Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.

Working Environment/Physical Demands:
