Pilot in Command – Falcon 7X
Jet Linx is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for full-time employment at its Teterboro, NJ base. This position will operate a Heavy jet aircraft for Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out time of the base location.
Position Summary:
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to decision-making and a commitment to Jet Linx's core values.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type (Falcon 7X): 250 hours
- Total Pilot in Command Time in Type (Falcon 7X): 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Pilot in Command Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions:
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policy and CFR regulations.
- Maintains consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintains and manages Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensures all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintains a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Exhibits strong, proactive decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrates Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
Other Requirements:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US.
- Possess a current passport.
- Must hold an ATP (or be able to obtain an ATP).
- Must hold a 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Must hold an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required.
- Must have unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Must be able to successfully release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The role involves work primarily within and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
