Jet Linx, a leading provider of tailored private aviation solutions, is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates to operate its Super Midsize jet aircraft, specifically the Challenger 300. This critical full-time position is based in Dallas, Texas, and supports sophisticated Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Jet Linx requires the successful candidate to either reside permanently or be prepared to relocate within a stringent two-hour call-out radius of the designated home base to ensure immediate operational readiness.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command assumes comprehensive responsibility for the overall safety, efficiency, and flawless execution of all assigned missions. Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the PIC is entrusted with preparing and executing the operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established Jet Linx operational procedures. The PIC serves as the ultimate authority during flight operations, ensuring compliance and adherence to the highest standards of airmanship.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The Pilot in Command will execute critical operational duties, including but not limited to:
- Rigorously manage duty, flight, and rest times to meet and exceed both company requirements and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with company operational control regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, positional updates, and detailed pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintain and manage the electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications, ensuring operational integrity.
- Ensure that all necessary navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current, accessible, and compliant prior to flight.
- Maintain an active 1st Class medical certificate at all times.
- Consistently convey strong, proactive, and timely decision-making skills in dynamic operational environments.

Minimum Professional Requirements
The successful candidate must meet or exceed the following rigorous flight hour minimums:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total PIC Time: 2000 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC Time: 1000 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
- Total Jet Time: 1500 hours
- Total Jet PIC Time: 500 hours
Additional Candidate Qualifications
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (or demonstrated ability to obtain one rapidly).
- Current, unrestricted 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Current FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is strongly preferred.
- Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as mandated.
- Ability to successfully obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current, valid passport.
- The PIC must have the unrestricted ability to travel to all European Union (EU), Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the flight schedule.
- Required to successfully release and pass a comprehensive FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or demonstration of equivalent aviation work experience is required.
- The role demands the ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis, with the majority of work completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a highly competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package for this leadership role. The starting base annual salary for the Pilot in Command position ranges from $160,000 to $245,000. The actual base salary provided is determined based upon the geographic location, aircraft size, and the relevant education, training, and experience of the selected candidate. The comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a robust 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off (PTO), and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
