Captain - Falcon 7X
Jet Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain for a Falcon 7X, based in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments, with an unwavering emphasis on safety, security, and quality. Reporting to the Lead Captain, the Captain exercises Pilot-in-Command authority on all assigned flights and serves as the final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operates the aircraft, determines departure times and routes, and cancels flights based on weather or other conditions.
- Ensures that each flight is conducted in full compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Institutes necessary changes dictated by en route conditions to ensure flight continuation under appropriate company guidelines.
- Conducts flights safely and prudently, adhering to industry and company standards.
- Accurately completes all trip paperwork.
- Ensures thorough communication with the Second in Command regarding all flight aspects.
- Records aircraft discrepancies, reports them to maintenance personnel, and determines if items can be deferred per the MEL.
- Verifies flight crew readiness in terms of attire and mental/physical fitness.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all aircraft systems, including emergency procedures.
- Secures the aircraft post-flight, arranging hangar storage as needed.
- Obtains current weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMS.
- Files flight plans with the FAA or ICAO ATC facility.
- Analyzes area, enroute, and terminal charts.
- Performs In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) duties.
- Conducts passenger safety briefings.
- Imparts knowledge and skills to the Second in Command.
- Completes and sends leg manifests and End of Day (EOD) reports.
- Actively supports open communication on safety issues and reports hazards.
- Immediately reports hazardous actions, conduct, or events to the Chief Pilot and Director of Safety.
- Represents Jet Aviation internally and externally.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
- Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing Flight Time.
- 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land Flight Time.
- 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command Flight Time.
- 1500 hours Turbojet Flight Time.
- 1500 Turbine Flight Time.
- 100 hours Night Flight Time.
- 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument Flight Time.
- 5 years of aviation experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
- Willingness and ability to travel worldwide extensively without restrictions.
- Valid driver’s license.
