Jazz is seeking highly motivated and safety-conscious First Officers to join their award-winning team. Candidates must possess a valid and current Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating, meeting all recency requirements, along with a valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License and Multi Engine rating. A valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical is also mandatory. Applicants must have completed the IATRA written exam within the past two years, or have completed the ATPL exams. The ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and a current passport at the time of hire are required. Candidates must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident without restrictions. Permanent Residents must be able to obtain and maintain necessary crew visa documentation for operating within the USA. A high school diploma is required, and candidates must meet Transport Canada's English proficiency standard. While 500 hours of total flying time is preferred, it is not mandatory.
This position offers a competitive salary, starting at $66.25 per credit hour, along with a daily expense allowance, averaging $800-$1000 tax-free per month. Preference will be given to applicants holding a Canadian ATPL, possessing two-crew multi-engine turbine experience, or holding a degree or diploma from an aviation college program. Commercial or military flight experience, as well as experience with Flight Management Systems (FMS) or glass cockpits, are also considered advantageous. Internal Jazz referrals will also be given preference.
