Position Summary
This full-time opportunity is designed for a dedicated First Officer based at Oxford, CT (OXC). The role is primarily focused on conducting Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, contributing significantly to the safe and efficient execution of approximately 400 flight hours annually. Compensation & Benefits

Key Responsibilities & Operational Details
- Operate a state-of-the-art Gulfstream G700 in strict adherence to Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.
- Actively participate in approximately 400 flight hours per year, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Maintain unwavering compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operations manuals, operations specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal company policies.
- Possess an unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to destinations within the EU, Canada, and the Caribbean.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned to support comprehensive flight operations and departmental objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
Clay Lacy Aviation seeks candidates who embody professionalism, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Flight Time: A minimum of 2,000 hours total flight time is required, with a strong preference for candidates possessing 1,000 hours of turbine time.
- Certifications:
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is preferred.
- A Gulfstream G700 type rating is highly preferred. However, exceptionally qualified candidates with robust credentials and extensive large cabin aircraft experience will be given thorough consideration.
- Residency: Candidates must currently reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Oxford, CT, or demonstrate a clear willingness to self-relocate to satisfy this critical requirement. This is explicitly designated as a non-commutable position.
- Compliance & Checks:
- Successful completion of a comprehensive pre-employment drug screening and background check is mandatory.
- Willingness to comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) drug and alcohol regulations, including submission to random drug/alcohol tests when required. This position is classified as safety-sensitive.
- Submission of full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including medical certificate, and completion of all necessary disclosure forms are essential components of the application process.
