JSX is seeking highly motivated and service-oriented individuals to join their esteemed Flight Attendant team.

General Information:

JSX emphasizes a strong commitment to local presence. Candidates are strongly encouraged to reside within close proximity to their assigned base or be willing to relocate. Commuting is not conducive to the demands of this role.

About the Role:

The JSX Flight Attendant plays a crucial role in delivering a safe, reliable, and enjoyable experience for each passenger. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of cabin equipment and its proper operation. They must possess in-depth knowledge of emergency procedures, including ditching and evacuation protocols, particularly regarding assistance for passengers with special needs.

Essential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
  • Current and valid Passport
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Height between 5'0" and 5'9"
  • Demonstrated strong verbal communication skills with fluency in English
  • Ability to participate in pre-employment and random drug testing programs
  • Residence within, or willingness to relocate to, within a 60 minute commute (including travel time) of a base
  • Ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds

Compensation and Benefits:

JSX offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:

  • Paid training at a rate of $135.00 (plus per diem) per day, increasing to $198.00 (plus per diem) per day while on-line.
  • Guaranteed minimum monthly salary based on 14 days of work.
  • Eligibility for Productivity Pay and quarterly bonuses.
  • Health benefits eligibility commencing on the 1st of the month following start of employment.
  • Affordable medical plans starting at $64/month, with 100% employer paid dental and vision plans, and up to $2,100 annual company HSA contribution for medical plan participants.
  • Complimentary non-revenue standby travel on JSX, along with deeply reduced non-revenue standby travel on other major domestic and international airlines for the employee and qualifying immediate family members.
