Hendrick Motorsports, a premier organization in high-performance motorsports, is actively seeking highly qualified and dedicated aviation professionals to join its Executive Flight Department. This critical role involves ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely air transportation of key personnel and equipment, maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and safety protocols.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements (Corporate Pilot Candidate)
Prospective candidates must meet or exceed the following rigorous flight time thresholds. All hours must be verifiable:
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1,500 hours
- Jet Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 250 hours
Licensing, Certifications, and Operational Mandates
The successful candidate must possess the following certifications and adhere to strict operational requirements:
- License Requirement: Valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Licensing Authority: Must hold current FAA certifications.
- Medical Certification: Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate required.
- Type Rating: A Type Rating is not required at the time of application; comprehensive training will be provided by Hendrick Motorsports.
- Operational Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of professional aviation experience is mandatory.
- Training Commitment: The ability to successfully complete ICAO International procedures training annually is required.
- Availability: Candidates must be capable of working on a flexible, on-call basis to accommodate dynamic travel schedules.
- Relocation Requirement: The primary residence must be established within a one-hour drive of Concord, North Carolina, or the candidate must be willing to relocate immediately upon acceptance of the position.

Preferred Qualifications
While meeting the minimum requirements is essential, candidates possessing the following experience will be highly preferred:
- Previous corporate flight experience under Part 121 or Part 125 operational regulations.
- Existing Type Rating on ERJ-145 or Legacy series aircraft.
