The company seeks a highly motivated and experienced aviation professional to join its dedicated team as a Senior Cabin Crew Member. This pivotal role involves active leadership and crucial responsibility for the safety and service delivery within the cabin environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Cabin Crew Member (SCCM) is entrusted with ensuring exceptional passenger service and maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency throughout all phases of flight. Primary duties include:
- Providing professional passenger service, commencing from the initial boarding process through to the final disembarkation and passenger farewell.
- Leading and coordinating the assigned cabin crew team, ensuring streamlined performance and optimal resource allocation during flight operations.
- Assuming primary responsibility for cabin security and safety management, strictly adhering to all regulatory requirements mandated by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
- Collaborating effectively with the Cabin Leadership and Cockpit Team to ensure seamless operational flow and guarantee an optimal passenger flight experience.
- Overseeing and enforcing internal quality management protocols and high safety standards across all cabin procedures.
- Completing necessary administrative documentation and reporting requirements following the conclusion of each flight duty.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in the aviation industry, demonstrating exemplary leadership, strong social competence, and rigorous safety compliance. Essential qualifications and requirements include:
- Possession of a valid Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) compliant with EASA ORO.CC 120 regulations.
- Possession of the Senior Cabin Crew Member Training Certificate, compliant with EASA ORO.CC 200 regulations.
- Demonstrable professional experience as a Senior Cabin Crew Member, Purser, or in a similar leadership position within commercial aviation.
- A current, valid Aviation Medical Certificate (Flight Fitness Certificate).
- A current, negative drug screening report.
- Completion of valid hygiene training in accordance with EU Regulation 852/2004.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years and a minimum height of 1.60 meters.
- Professional working proficiency in English (verbal and written); proficiency in German and other foreign languages is highly advantageous.
- Ability to reach the designated duty station (Cologne/Bonn) within 90 minutes for necessary stand-by duties.
- Demonstrated resilience, a strong commitment to service excellence, and paramount safety awareness.
- Proficiency in standard office applications and access to a personal computer or tablet for flight duty preparation.
- Possession of an unconditionally valid passport. Non-EU citizens must also possess a valid residence permit and work authorization.
- A consistently polished, professional appearance and a warm, engaging personality suitable for representing the airline brand.
