Key Responsibilities
The successful Senior Cabin Crew Member will undertake a diverse range of critical duties, ensuring the highest standards of safety and service excellence throughout all flight operations:
- Provide professional and attentive care to all passengers, from the moment of boarding through to disembarkation.
- Lead and effectively coordinate the cabin crew team, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment during flights.
- Ensure seamless service delivery and uphold stringent cabin safety standards, strictly adhering to all EASA regulations.
- Collaborate closely with Cabin Management and the Cockpit team to guarantee an optimal and enjoyable flight experience for every passenger.
- Assume responsibility for comprehensive quality management and rigorously enforce all established safety protocols and standards.
- Diligently complete all required reporting and administrative tasks following each flight.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
German Airways is seeking highly motivated and experienced aviation professionals who possess the following essential qualifications and attributes:
- A valid Cabin Crew Attestation (EASA ORO.CC.120) and an SCCM Training Certificate (EASA ORO.CC.200) are mandatory.
- Demonstrable professional experience as a Senior Cabin Crew Member or in a similar leadership capacity within the aviation industry.
- Possession of a valid Aviation Medical Certificate and a current negative drug screening result.
- Completion of valid Hygiene Training as per EU Regulation 852/2004.
- Minimum age of 21 years and a minimum height of 1.60 m.
- Fluent proficiency in English is essential; strong command of German and additional foreign language skills are highly advantageous.
- Ability to reliably reach the duty station (Cologne/Bonn – CGN) within 90 minutes for standby duties.
- Proven resilience, a strong service-oriented mindset, and an unwavering commitment to safety.
- Proficiency in IT applications and access to a personal tablet or PC for efficient flight duty preparation.
- An unrestricted, valid passport is required. For non-EU citizens, a valid residence permit and work permit are also essential.
- A well-groomed, professional appearance complemented by an engaging and personable demeanor.
- Exceptional teamwork capabilities and strong social competence.
