Role Overview
German Airways is seeking experienced and highly motivated Cabin Crew Members to join its operations based at Cologne/Bonn (CGN). The Cabin Crew Member is a key representative of German Airways, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of passenger service, comfort, and safety throughout each flight. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong service orientation, and the ability to act as a competent and friendly point of contact for all passengers. Responsibilities
- Provide professional and courteous service to passengers from boarding to disembarking, ensuring a positive travel experience.
- Oversee and ensure smooth service delivery during the flight.
- Assume responsibility for cabin safety and security procedures, adhering strictly to all regulations.
- Represent German Airways effectively as a knowledgeable and friendly ambassador to all passengers.
- Potential for rapid promotion to Senior Cabin Crew Member based on performance and suitability.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Cabin Crew Attestation issued in accordance with EASA regulations.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Cabin Crew Member.
- Hold a valid Aviation Medical Certificate.
- Provide a negative drug screening result.
- Successful completion of a Reliability Background Check (ZÜP) and hold relevant hygiene training (e.g., according to EU Regulation 852/2004) and training on infection protection (e.g., based on § 42 German Infection Protection Act).
- Minimum age of 20 years.
- Minimum height of 1.60 meters.
- Fluent command of the English language is essential; proficiency in German and other foreign languages is advantageous.
- Ability to reach the Cologne/Bonn (CGN) base location within 90 minutes for standby duties.
- Demonstrate high levels of commitment, resilience, and a strong service-oriented mindset.
- Exhibit flexibility regarding working hours and deployment locations.
- Have access to a mobile phone and a personal computer with good IT skills.
- Possess an unrestricted valid passport. For non-EU citizens, a valid residence permit and work permit are required.
- Maintain a well-groomed professional appearance, a pleasant demeanor, and a winning personality.
