Gary Jet Center, Inc. is seeking a qualified Second-In-Command (SIC) for a Challenger 300 (CL30) aircraft, operating under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. This position is based at Gary/Chicago International Airport (KGYY) in Gary, Indiana, and offers a path for the SIC to train for upgrade to First Pilot-In-Command (PIC).

About the Role

The Second-In-Command (SIC) will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of the Challenger 300. Responsibilities include adherence to all company and regulatory manuals, supporting the First Pilot-In-Command (PIC), preparing for an upgrade to PIC, and fulfilling other duties as assigned by the PIC. The SIC reports administratively to the Chief Pilot and functionally to the PIC for flight assignments.

Requirements

• Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL)
• Second Class Medical Certificate
• Current US Passport
• Minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight time
• Minimum of 200 hours of Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time
• Minimum of 1,000 hours of Second-In-Command (PIC) time
• Minimum of 100 hours of instrument flight time
• Strong knowledge of the Company GOM, Flight Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, and relevant Flight Manuals.
• Preferred: Residence within two hours of KGYY.

Qualifications

• A Challenger 300 (CL30) type rating is not a stated requirement.
