First Officer - Frontier Airlines

Job Summary
The First Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient operation of flights. They are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to all company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. The First Officer's duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the safe and timely execution of flight operations, strictly following all company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR).
- Operating the aircraft during their assigned duty period, unless relieved by proper Company authority, which includes weekend, holiday, and night operations.
- Conducting thorough pre- and post-flight inspections to guarantee the airworthy condition of the assigned aircraft.
- Familiarizing themselves with current and forecast weather conditions for departure, arrival, and alternate stations prior to each flight.
- Ensuring that flight plans are properly prepared and that adequate fuel is on board for the safe completion of each flight.
- Assisting in the efficient handling of the aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at all terminal points, while maintaining an acute awareness of on-time departure.
- Promptly informing crew and passengers of any turbulence, adverse weather conditions, or other operational factors that may impact the flight.
- Reviewing the load manifest and confirming the passenger count prior to each departure.
Requirements/Qualifications
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time (2,500 hours preferred).
- 750 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing flight time.
- 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
- 500 hours of jet/turboprop flight time.
- Possession of a current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Possession of an FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
- A valid U.S. Passport with machine-readable print, and the ability to travel to and from the United States, or a valid foreign passport with authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to travel to and from all cities/countries served by Frontier Airlines.
- Ability and willingness to relocate as needed.
- Availability and willingness to work weekends, nights, holidays, and overnight trips, including "red-eye" flights.
- Commitment to maintaining a well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment drug tests and background checks.
- Preferred experience with sophisticated aircraft equipment such as Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS) and Flight Management Systems (FMS).
- Compliance with the company's COVID policies, which includes full vaccination by the first day of employment, to the degree permitted by law.

- The First Officer will operate within a commercial aircraft environment and will utilize aircraft controls.
- Company manuals, navigation charts, and flashlights are essential equipment for this position.
Physical Effort
- This position requires moderate physical activity, involving occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
