Responsibilities:
The SIC will be responsible for:
- Providing exemplary customer service with a friendly, calm, and confident demeanor.
- Collaborating effectively with the flight crew to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections to confirm aircraft airworthiness in accordance with FARs and company policies.
- Planning and fueling flights in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Operating the aircraft safely and effectively under the Captain's instruction, adhering to FARs and company policies.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of aircraft equipment, FARs, manuals, policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Communicating weather conditions and operational factors to the crew and passengers.
- Completing the load manifest for each flight.
- Contributing to a reliable and on-time operation by meeting all reporting, departure, and turn times.
- Assisting with and ensuring proper handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo.
- Maintaining regular and reliable attendance in accordance with company procedures.
- Presenting a professional appearance and adhering to the company uniform dress code.
- Maintaining professional conduct at all times while on duty and observing the Rules of Conduct outlined in the Flight Operations Manual, Employee Handbook, and other related policies.
- Continuously pursuing professional training to enhance performance and abilities.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the company and Chief Pilot.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid pilot license with a Gulfstream IV type rating.
- Demonstrated proficiency in flight planning, utilizing weather information and reports.
- Strong knowledge of FARs and relevant company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and a professional approach to flight operations.
Schedule:
This position offers a 17 days on, 13 days off schedule.
