Position Summary:
A G-IV Captain is responsible for safely and efficiently performing duties as a Part 91/135 aircraft pilot. This role involves operating applicable type-rated aircraft under ACI Jet’s 135 Certificate, while consistently maintaining positive and productive relationships with ACI Jet employees, vendors, and clients. The G-IV Captain reports directly to the account Lead Captain (Aircraft and Crew Manager - ACM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ACI Jet aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all company rules and regulations, manufacturer limitations and manuals, governmental regulations, and requirements of all agencies with jurisdiction over the flight.
- Coordinate effectively with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch personnel to ensure flight operations align with established goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Provide exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and customer service to ACI Jet Charter clients and aircraft owners.
- Ensure Electronic Flight Bag(s) (EFB) are current with the latest navigation data and application updates.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of applicable sections of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections before each takeoff, including aircraft, publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports, and departure points, as well as customs, permits, and airport/runway suitability.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3,500 hours total time.
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Minimum 2,500 hours multi-engine time.
- Minimum 1,500 hours multi-engine PIC.
- Minimum 250 hours instrument time.
- Minimum 2,000 hours turbine time.
- G-IV Type Rating is highly desired.
- Must possess a current and valid Pilot’s Certificate with an English proficient endorsement.
- Must meet the requirements of ICAO Annex I, Section 2.1.10 for this account.
- Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating.
- Ability to maintain a First Class Medical Certificate.
- Ability to maintain a valid United States Passport.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3-5 years of professional aviation experience.
- Ability to perform effectively as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Must reside within 90 minutes of San Luis Obispo Airport (KSBP).
- Must be highly motivated and organized.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive Salary: $200,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year, depending on experience.
