The Senior Flight Instructor is instrumental in delivering exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction. Leveraging expert aviation knowledge and advanced facilitation skills, this role ensures client training seamlessly meets all regulatory requirements and adheres to FlightSafety Training principles.

Duties regularly require use of hands for intricate object manipulation and controls; reaching with hands and arms; and verbal communication. The role may involve standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and sensory evaluation of taste or smell. Physical range of motion must support manipulation of rudder and antitorque controls with both feet, operation of simulator controls from the instructor's chair, entry and exit from the simulator via ramp, movement between instructor stations, screen, and podium, and egress from a malfunctioning simulator in challenging orientations. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, and frequently up to 25 pounds. The work environment frequently involves proximity to moving mechanical parts. Potential exposure exists to high, precarious places, varying outdoor weather conditions, and occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration. The typical noise level in the work environment is moderate.
