Aviation Pilot in Command
The Aviation Pilot in Command is responsible for acting as the Pilot in Command, prioritizing safety, operational efficiency, and superior customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Execute all duties of Aircraft Commander, guaranteeing the safety of flights and passengers, adhering strictly to the aircraft Flight Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures, and all applicable legislation.
- Maintain a focus on the safe and efficient operation of the flight, complying with all company procedures.
- Confirm the aircraft's safe navigation, conducting continuous and independent checks of its geographical position and safe terrain clearance.
- Execute all operational procedures and checklists according to the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, and as directed by the flight commander.
- Report any occurrence or incident that has endangered or could potentially endanger safety.
- Report any fault, failure, malfunction, or defect that may affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aircraft.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times, contributing to customer satisfaction and retention.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- A minimum of 3000 hours of total flight time is preferred.
- Type-rating on GL6000 is preferred.
- Based in the South of England.
- Possession of an EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence with appropriate type ratings.
- Possession of a European Union class 1 medical certificate.
- Clear demonstration of excellent performance.
- Extensive European flight experience.
- A strong commercial aviation background (EUOPS and/or AIROPS environment is an advantage).
- Military or airline training is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (preferably level 6), and knowledge of two or more European languages is an advantage.
