A320 Captain - SAS Connect (London Heathrow)

SAS Crew Services Ltd. is seeking experienced Captains to join the SAS Connect A320 fleet based at London Heathrow (LHR). This position offers an opportunity for professionals, including those transitioning from the cargo sector, to join a growing airline with a modern Airbus A320neo fleet and an expansive European network.

Role Overview

Successful candidates will join a forward-looking airline committed to growth, with an ambitious schedule planned through 2026. The role involves operating diverse routes across a comprehensive European network, ranging from Nordic winter operations to high-density airspace environments.

Compensation and Benefits

This position is available on a permanent, full-time contract, with part-time options also offered. Benefits include:

Candidate Requirements

  • EASA ATPL Licence.
  • Minimum of 4,000 hours total flying time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on CS25 aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 30.0 tonnes.
  • Valid A320 type rating is preferred.
  • Valid EASA Class One medical certificate.
  • ICAO Level 5 English Language Proficiency.
  • Clean safety record (no incidents or accidents).
  • Right to live and work in the UK is preferred.

Recruitment Process

The SAS selection process includes CV screening, an online interview, cognitive and personality assessments, and a formal assessment day (simulator session and personal interview). Final selection is subject to background checks, including security interviews, licence validation, and drug and alcohol testing.

Applications are reviewed on a continuous basis. Candidates who have previously applied without reaching the assessment stage are eligible to reapply, while those who have previously attended an assessment may reapply after 12 months.
