easyJet | A320 Captain

About the Role

easyJet is seeking experienced, type-rated Captains to join its London Gatwick operation. This permanent, full-time position involves operating the airline's Airbus A320-family fleet on short-haul routes. The opportunity is specifically for current Airbus A320-rated Captains who meet the specified experience and UK licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Airbus A320 type rating at the time of joining easyJet.
• Minimum of 4,000 total flying hours.
• Minimum of 500 hours on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
• Minimum of 500 total Pilot in Command (PIC) hours on jet aircraft exceeding 30 tonnes MTOW by the easyJet induction date.

Qualifications

• UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) flight crew licence.
• Valid A320 Licence Proficiency Check (LPC) at the point of induction.
• Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical certificate.
• Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
• Possession of the right to live and work in the UK, with unrestricted access across the UK, EEA, and the easyJet network.

Training and Selection

Successful candidates joining easyJet as Captains for the A319, A320, and A321 will undergo the airline's standard Operator Conversion Course. The selection process comprises an online application, online assessments, application review, and an Assessment Centre featuring technical simulator and non-technical assessments.
