About the Role
This Captain position with easyJet is based in Manchester and involves flying on the Airbus A320 aircraft. The role is integral to easyJet’s short-haul operations, requiring the Captain to lead the flight crew, make sound operational decisions, and uphold the highest safety standards. The position also necessitates participation in easyJet's comprehensive selection process, including online assessments, application reviews, and simulator-based technical and non-technical evaluations. Upon joining, Captains will complete a standard easyJet Operator Conversion Course (OCC) and contribute to an inclusive and supportive team culture.
Requirements

Hold a valid A320 Type Rating at the time of joining.

Possess a minimum of 4,000 total flying hours.

Accumulate at least 500 hours on the A320 family aircraft.

Hold at least 500 total Pilot in Command (PIC) hours on jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 30 tonnes by the easyJet induction date.

Hold a UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Licence.

Possess a valid A320 Licence Proficiency Check (LPC) at the point of induction.

Hold a UK CAA Class 1 Medical certificate.

Demonstrate a minimum of ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.

Possess the legal right to live and work in the UK, with unrestricted access to the UK, EEA, and easyJet's network.

Submit a passport photo ID page, a CV with a detailed breakdown of flying hours, licence details, Class 1 Medical information, and the last three logbook pages as part of the application.
