Direct Entry Captain - BA Cityflyer

Role Overview

The Direct Entry Captain will operate the Embraer 190 fleet, navigating one of the world's most challenging operating environments. Responsibilities include delivering industry-defining customer service within a dynamic seven-day-a-week operation that encompasses business, charter, and leisure flights. Successful candidates will work within a collaborative team and have opportunities for professional development as a Line Trainer, TRI, TRE, or Pilot Recruiter.

Candidate Requirements

  • Current UK CAA Part-FCL ATPL (A) license.
  • Minimum of 4,000 total flying hours.
  • Minimum of 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on a commercial jet or turbo-prop multi-crew aircraft with an MTOW of 20,000kg or greater (excluding PICUS hours).
  • Valid ME Instrument rating.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical (valid for at least 6 months post-joining).
  • ICAO English language proficiency level 6.
  • Current type rating required; E-Jet type rating is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience operating as a Captain is desirable.
