BA Cityflyer is seeking an experienced Direct Entry Captain to join their dynamic team, operating the Embraer 190 (E-Jet) primarily from London City Airport. As a Direct Entry Captain with BA Cityflyer, you will be instrumental in delivering a dynamic seven-day-a-week operation from London City, one of the world's most challenging operating environments. This role demands the highest professional standards, flexibility, and a customer-first approach, undertaking business, charter, and leisure flights with varied rosters including day trips, night stops, and tours. Qualifications

Current UK CAA Part-FCL ATPL (A) or the ability to convert to a UK licence via CAA EASA transfer process route 5 or 6.

ICAO English language proficiency level 6.

Valid ME Instrument Rating.

Valid Class 1 Medical, maintaining validity for at least 6 months after the date of joining.
Requirements

Minimum of 4000 total hours.

Minimum of 1500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) of a commercial jet or turbo prop multi-crew aircraft. These 1500 PIC hours must be on an aircraft with an MTOW of 20,000kg or greater and will not include any PICUS hours.

Currently operating as a Captain is desirable.

An E-Jet type rating is desirable but not essential.
Applicants are required to provide a copy of their licence and the last three pages of their logbook with their application. Hours and ratings will be rigorously checked during screening and assessment.
