The Daily Flight Path: Responsibilities of a Cabin Crew Member

As a dedicated Flight Attendant, the primary objective is to collaborate with the crew to cultivate a positive onboard atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant journey for every guest and generating a distinctive 'WOW' effect. This commitment ensures that every passenger disembarks with a smile.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Commencing the day with a mandatory briefing, gathering essential information regarding the flight and preparation procedures.
  • Executing various safety checks and meticulously preparing the cabin environment for passengers prior to departure.
  • Warmly welcoming and assisting guests during the boarding process, providing support as required.
  • Efficiently conducting service procedures in seamless coordination with the rest of the cabin crew team.
  • Maintaining focus on the sale of onboard shop items to enhance the unique flight experience for customers.
  • Serving daily as an official brand ambassador, enthusiastically embodying the corporate values.
  • Successfully managing stressful and challenging situations, resolving issues proficiently while maintaining a positive disposition.

Candidate Requirements: Your Takeoff Conditions

Prepared for take-off? We welcome applications from individuals who thrive on collaboration, aspire to a workplace above the clouds, and meet the following essential criteria:

  • Minimum height requirement of 1.60 meters and a minimum age of 18 years.
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken German (Level B2) and English (minimum Level B1).
  • Possession of a secondary school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) or a basic secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) combined with previous experience in the service sector.
  • Holding an unrestricted, valid passport. Non-EU citizens must additionally possess a valid residence permit and work authorization.
  • Demonstration of good general health, ensuring unrestricted flight fitness.
  • Visual acuity requirement of +/- 5 diopters.
  • Solid swimming ability (minimum of 100 meters continuous swimming without interruption).
  • High degree of flexibility regarding stationing locations throughout Germany.
  • Willingness to receive vaccinations approved in Germany (including COVID-19 vaccination, among others).
  • Maintaining a professional and neat appearance combined with an approachable, sympathetic demeanor.
  • Experienced Cabin Crew Members (active within the last 60 months) must provide a valid Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) in accordance with EASA standards, including official flight hour verification from the previous employer.

Important Note Regarding Applications: Candidates who have previously received a rejection for an application submitted to any of the operating flight businesses (e.g., Eurowings GmbH or Eurowings Europe Ltd.) are subject to a reapplication waiting period of 12 months.

Assessment Center Focus: Upcoming Assessment Center dates are currently anticipated to focus primarily on the Düsseldorf home base.
