Challenger 3500 Second-In-Command (SIC) Position
Elit'Avia Americas, a Part 135 operator based in the San Diego area, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Second-In-Command (SIC) for our Challenger 3500 aircraft.
Responsibilities:
The SIC will be responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 3500 aircraft, encompassing a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
- Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
- Rigorous review of aircraft maintenance records to ensure all required airworthiness and equipment inspections are up-to-date.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections following the approved aircraft flight manual.
- Thoroughly examining weather and facilities along the planned flight route and airports, including alternate destinations.
- Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Type rating on the Challenger 350 or a comparable aircraft.
- ATP with a valid Medical Examination License (MEL).
- Residence within a 2-hour drive from the San Diego base.
- Possession and maintenance of a first-class medical certificate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 2,000 hours
- Pilot in Command: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land: 500 hours
- Turbo Jet Time: 250 hours
