Certified Flight Instructor (CFI-I, MEI)
Eastern Kentucky University's Center for Aviation seeks a dedicated and passionate Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) with Instrument (CFI-I) and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) ratings to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in promoting all facets of flight training, including ground instruction, flight training, and simulator training.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive ground, flight, and simulator instruction adhering to University and FAA regulations, requirements, and procedures.
- Maintain the highest safety protocols while fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment for both new and current flight students.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and meticulous adherence to course standards and training requirements.
- Guide and mentor students to successfully meet learning objectives within the designated timeframe across various ratings offered by the EKU Center for Aviation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 300+ hours of flight time.
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Instrument Instructor (CFI-I), and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) ratings.
