Role Overview

Draken is seeking experienced Captains to join our expanding fleet in Saudi Arabia. As we introduce the Learjet 60XR to support our contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force, successful candidates will play a pivotal role in shaping our in-country airborne operations. This permanent position involves supporting missions that will evolve into advanced electronic warfare capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee safe and efficient flight operations in strict accordance with regulations and company procedures.
  • Coordinate and execute specialized flight profiles, including formation operations.
  • Collaborate with crew members to achieve mission objectives while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Cultivate strong professional relationships with colleagues and clients, consistently upholding Draken’s reputation for excellence.
  • Maintain compliance with UK CAA Part-CAT operator requirements, including all applicable civilian and tactical qualifications.

Requirements

  • UK CAA (f)ATPL(A) or ATPL(A) certification.
  • Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical.
  • Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
  • Current or previously held Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME IR).
  • Completion of an Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course.
  • Completion of an Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT) course.
  • Proven tactical military captaincy experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) security clearance (nationality restrictions apply).
