Aviation Job Opportunity: Captain (Learjet 60XR) - Saudi Arabia

Location: Saudi Arabia

Draken is seeking experienced Captains to join our expanding fleet in Saudi Arabia. This role supports our contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force, operating the Learjet 60XR. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing in-country operation as we evolve our airborne capabilities toward advanced electronic warfare support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee safe and efficient flight operations in strict accordance with aviation regulations and company procedures.
  • Coordinate and execute specialized flight profiles, including formation operations.
  • Collaborate with flight crew members to fulfill mission objectives while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Cultivate strong professional relationships with colleagues and customers, upholding Draken’s reputation for operational excellence.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Current UK CAA (f)ATPL(A) or ATPL(A).
  • Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical certificate.
  • Minimum of 1,500 hours total flying time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • Current or previously held Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME IR).
  • Completed Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course.
  • Completed Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT) course.
  • Proven tactical military captaincy experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK MOD security clearances (nationality restrictions apply).
  • Relevant aircraft-specific, civilian, and tactical qualifications for Captain-level operations.
