Direct Entry Captain – BA Euroflyer
BA Euroflyer is seeking a Direct Entry Captain to operate short-haul flights from London Gatwick. As part of the British Airways family, the successful candidate will provide premium service to destinations across Europe and North Africa, supported by a fixed-pattern roster that ensures a return to base every evening.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary of £114,000 (subject to 2026 pay review) plus approximately £25,150 in allowances (based on 800 flying hours per year).

Fully funded type rating with no associated bond.

Candidate Requirements

Possession of a UK-issued CAA ATPL (A), fATPL (A), or MPL, or an EASA licence meeting UK CAA conversion routes (3, 4, 5, or 6).

Minimum of 3,000 hours total flying time on an aircraft type qualifying for Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT), with flight experience on this type within the last 6 months.

Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time, with operational experience as PIC within the last 6 months.

Right to live and work in the UK or the ability to secure a Right to Work visa.

Valid passport, Class 1 medical, and ICAO English Level 6 proficiency.
Application Guidelines

Reapplication periods are set at 6 months for unsuccessful candidates in the initial stages and 12 months for those who reach the simulator stage.
