Direct Entry Captain – BA Euroflyer
BA Euroflyer is seeking experienced Direct Entry Captains to operate short-haul flights from London Gatwick. Competitive Remuneration:
Starting salary of £114,000 (subject to 2026 pay review), supplemented by approximately £25,150 in allowances based on 800 flying hours per annum.

Candidate Requirements

Licensing:
Must hold a UK-issued CAA ATPL (A), fATPL (A), or MPL. Candidates with an EASA licence must meet UK CAA conversion routes (3, 4, 5, or 6).

Flight Experience:
A minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time on an aircraft type satisfying ZFTT, with recent operation of that type within the last 6 months.

Command Experience:
At least 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC), with active operation as PIC within the last 6 months.

Legal Status:
Right to live and work in the UK or the ability to hold a valid Right to Work visa.

Regulatory Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 medical, ICAO English Level 6 proficiency, and a valid passport.
Application Guidelines

Applicants are permitted to apply to only one BA Group airline at a time.

Reapplication periods are set at 6 months for unsuccessful candidates at initial stages and 12 months for those unsuccessful at the simulator stage.
