Role Summary
The role is within West Atlantic UK AOC. The role will include the provision of company line training and checking during live operational flights in accordance with training standards and syllabus defined in OMD.
All Trainers are expected to demonstrate a positive company mindset with an eagerness to promote company culture, supporting business development and growth. Trainers will be required to show robust technical and operational knowledge. It is essential that trainers have excellent procedural discipline, are passionate about Company policy and procedure, with no private idiosyncrasies. The role requires a desire to support the development of others and a willingness to promote a team ethos within the training department.
Responsibilities

Carrying out line training (LIFUS) or conducting line checks as directed on flight crew.

Ensuring crews operate in accordance with the Flight Crew Training Manual and Operations Manual at all times.

Conducting ground training that may be conducted by Ground Instructors.

Conducting other ground and aircraft training as requested and authorised by the training department.

Ensuring and supporting flight crew familiarity with the latest operational procedures.

Making proposals for improving safety standards and efficiency in training and line operations.

Implementing and providing training under the company’s Training Support Strategy.

Completing training and check forms promptly on completion of the training or check and for forwarding the completed forms to the training department.
Academic/Educational Requirements

Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent.
Required Skills/Experience/knowledge:
Minimum Qualification Requirements

Hold an ATR Type Rating and valid medical certificate.

Hold or have applied for a UK CAA Flight Crew License
-
A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a West Atlantic Captain.

A minimum of 300 hours on aircraft type.

Demonstration of a minimum consistent company standard during West Atlantic initial and recurrent checks.

Evidence of high operational and professional standards.

Experience as defined in OMD 2.1.2.3.5 (pilots not meeting these requirements may be considered)

£3085 additional allowance
