B737 First Officer / Captain - London Gatwick, UK
Ascend Airways, a newly established airline with a UK Air Operator Certificate (AOC), is seeking highly skilled and experienced Boeing 737 First Officers and Captains to join its dynamic team. Operating a modern fleet of Boeing 737 NG and MAX aircraft within the thriving ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) market, Ascend Airways is set to open its inaugural operational base at London Gatwick in early 2024.

Key Requirements for Candidates:
- Possession of an unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- A current UK/EASA Class One medical certificate, free from restrictions other than those pertaining to spectacles or contact lenses.
- Willingness to maintain a home address situated within a 90-minute travelling distance of London Gatwick.
- A valid UK CAA ATPL(A) or (f)ATPL(A) with a Boeing 737 type rating, which must be current or have expired by no more than two years.
- A minimum of 1,500 total flying hours, including one of the following:
- 500 hours on Boeing 737 aircraft.
- 1,500 hours on jet aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight exceeding 60 tonnes.
- 1,000 hours as Captain in any multi-pilot Commercial Air Transport operation.
Compensation and Benefits Package:
- A basic gross annual salary of £75,000.
- Pension contributions at 4.5% of the basic salary.
- Flight pay calculated at £13.30 per block hour.
- Per diems provided for time spent away from base.
- A guaranteed minimum of 10 days off per month.
- 42 days of annual leave.
- A maximum of eight days' leave permitted between 1 June and 15 September.
- Company-paid parking facilities at the London Gatwick base.
- Company-covered costs for medical renewals.
- Three 'golden days' per year, which are rostered days off at the pilot's home base.
- Loss of license insurance coverage.
