Job Title: Pilot Resources Co-op
The Pilot Resources department is seeking a dedicated Co-op student to provide comprehensive support across Crew Resources functions, including the administration of pilot leaves of absence, retirements, verification of outside flying, and new hire processes. This role offers the opportunity to gain professional experience in an aviation operations environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with pilot rotation and schedule updates while maintaining DBMS data and personnel files.

Conduct analysis and research for Crew Resources, including support for OE training planning, scheduling strategic initiatives, and ALPA reporting.

Identify required training types for pilots returning from leave or awarded through Advance Entitlements.

Provide customer service to pilots, Chief Pilot Offices, Labor Relations, and ALPA by managing inquiries and staffing information requests.

Ensure accuracy in pay protection distribution, pilot assignment files, and job codes.

Manage Vacation, Training, and Sick (VTS) files and process schedule block requests.

Identify manual processes and develop innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Rapidly acquire knowledge of the Pilot Working Agreement (PWA), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), DBMS, SAP, and OSS.

Maintain safety-conscious behaviors in all operational procedures.
Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree program.

Must commit to three alternating rotations: Fall 2026, Summer 2027, and Spring 2028.

Availability to work full-time during rotations; applicants cannot be concurrently enrolled in courses.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with exposure to analytical or reporting software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Ability to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines.

Strong communication skills, specifically regarding proprietary, confidential, and complex issues.

High attention to detail regarding personnel records, pay, and benefits.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Minimum of 18 years of age with legal authorization to work in the United States.

Possession of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Program Expectations
This position is designed to provide educational and professional work experience. Participation in the Co-op program does not guarantee full-time employment upon graduation.
