Pilot-in-Command, HA420 - Phoenix, AZ

Cutter Aviation seeks an energetic and knowledgeable aviation professional to serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of a new HondaJet HA420. This remote position, based in Phoenix, AZ, will involve single-pilot operations supporting owner travel requirements and on-demand charter flights. The PIC will represent Cutter Aviation, requiring exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, and a dedication to providing superior customer service. This individual will also manage on-site operations, liaise with Cutter Flight Management, and act as the company's external representative to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the broader aviation community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class service with an uncompromising commitment to safety.
  • Maintain 24/7 year-round availability.
  • Adapt to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts.
  • Serve as PIC on the HA420 HondaJet in Part 91 and 135 operations.
  • Adhere to established procedures for reporting irregularities and maintaining records.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations pertaining to flight, qualifications, currency, and aircraft compliance.
  • Fulfill additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • Current First Class Medical Certificate or ability to obtain one.
  • No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past five years.
  • Knowledge of general aviation aircraft service requirements, crew, and passenger needs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Sincere desire to assist customers and be a team member.
  • Ability to train an SIC pilot.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Turbojet Type Rating and/or Turboprop experience.
  • 3000 Total Time hours.
  • 1500 PIC Hours.
  • 250 PIC Hours in turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Previous experience in on-demand charter operations.
  • Previous FSI or Simuflite Training.
