Flight Attendant Position at Contour Airlines
Contour Airlines, a well-established aviation services company with diverse operations, including scheduled airline operations, aircraft management, and maintenance, is seeking a full-time Flight Attendant to join its team based in Chicago, Illinois (ORD).

Responsibilities:
- Perform required work duties in an aircraft environment, adhering to established standards and regulations, including those outlined by the Federal Aviation Administration.
- Prioritize passenger safety and comfort, providing exemplary customer service to exceed expectations.
- Assist passengers with luggage handling, including stowing baggage in overhead bins.
- Provide dedicated assistance to individuals requiring special attention, such as unaccompanied minors, those with disabilities, and elderly passengers.
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages, ensuring adherence to service standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to company dress code.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, following flight deck instructions and implementing safety procedures.
- Guide and direct passengers during emergencies, ensuring their safety and minimizing the impact of the event.
- Provide basic emergency medical assistance, including CPR and first aid.
- Ensure compliance with all aircraft and passenger safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively through public announcements, safety demonstrations, and written reports.
- Retrieve and store items from overhead bins, which can reach up to 67" in height.
- Manage potential exposure to allergens, including peanuts, pets, and other irritants.
- Assist with opening and closing aircraft doors weighing up to 60 pounds, as well as pushing and pulling heavy beverage/food carts.
- Perform tasks requiring frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Operate all galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft cabin, galley, and lavatory.
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management or the Pilot-in-Command.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 23 years.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel domestically and internationally.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Valid passport.
- Proficiency in understanding, reading, and writing English. Bilingualism is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
- Clear 10-year work history review and ability to pass criminal background and fingerprint checks.
- Successful completion of Contour’s four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program.
- Adaptability to a rotating schedule with variable hours, including up to a 16-hour duty day.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Polished and professional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset.

- Well-developed people skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while handling interruptions and working in a fast-paced environment.

- Residence within a one-hour radius of the assigned domicile.
