Position Summary:
The Aviation Professional will play a crucial role in upholding Contour Airlines' commitment to safe and efficient flight operations. This individual will be responsible for pre-flight planning, ensuring aircraft readiness, providing exceptional customer service, and adhering to all company and regulatory guidelines.
Essential Duties:
- Prioritize safety above all else, complying with schedules and directives ensuring safe aircraft operation.
- Adhere to all company manuals, policies, and procedures in the execution of assigned duties.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight planning and prepare comprehensive flight plans.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all passengers.
- Maintain a clean and prepared aircraft, ensuring all necessary provisions are on board for passenger safety and comfort.
- Adhere to the company uniform policy, presenting a professional image at all times.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current passport.
- Commercial, multi-engine land license with instrument airplane rating.
- Current first-class medical certificate (verified during interview).
- Authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel in and out of the country.
- Excellent English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to pass a 10-year work history review, criminal background check, reference check, national driver's record check, and demonstrate a record of successful check rides.
- Ability to pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and willingness to submit to random FAA and company-mandated drug and alcohol tests.
- Polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and interact positively with diverse personalities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, delivered professionally and tactfully.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE).
- Ability to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure and time constraints.
- No history of aviation-related accidents or incidents.
- Residence located within 120 minutes of the dispatch call during assigned duty periods.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Time: 500 hours minimum
- Multi-Engine Time: 25 hours minimum
Compensation:
$36,000.00 - $44,959.07 per year
