CommuteAir Pilot Position
CommuteAir is seeking highly qualified candidates for a rewarding aviation position. Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Flight Experience: A minimum of 1500 total flight hours, including 1000 hours of applicable experience as Second-in-Command (SIC) under FAR Part 121 or Pilot-in-Command (PIC) under FAR Part 135 (FAR 121.436).
- Licensure and Certifications: A valid FAA-issued Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is required. A type rating is not a prerequisite; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Recency of Experience: Applicants must maintain instrument currency, demonstrating 20 hours of flight time within the preceding six months.
- Medical Certification: A current Class 1 medical certificate is mandatory.
- Additional Requirements: Candidates must hold a valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's Permit and a valid passport. International travel, particularly to Canada and Mexico, is a requirement of this position; therefore, unrestricted international travel eligibility is essential. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. COVID-19 vaccination status is not specified as a requirement.
