Fixed Wing Pilot - Medical Air Transportation
A leading medical air transportation provider is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fixed Wing Pilot to join its professional aviation team. This critical role involves operating the advanced PC12 aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of patients and medical personnel. The successful candidate will contribute to a culture deeply rooted in safety and operational excellence, working within a quality-focused team committed to upholding the highest safety standards for both crew and customers.
This challenging yet rewarding position operates on a scheduled 14/14 shift rotation, encompassing both day and night missions. Responsibilities extend beyond flight operations to include essential pre-flight duties such as aircraft preparation, de-icing, and assisting with ground movements, including towing and maneuvering the aircraft in and out of the hangar. The ability to perform duties in varying outside weather conditions is essential.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Applicants must possess a Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) or Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) certificate.
- A strong commitment to professional development, evidenced by the willingness and ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within five years of employment, is required.
- Candidates are expected to hold a valid and unexpired driver's license, alongside a current FAA First-Class or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum flight experience requirements include:
- 2,500 Total Flight Hours.
- 2,000 Fixed Wing Hours.
- 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours.
- 500 Cross-Country Hours.
- 100 Night Hours.
- 75 Instrument Hours (including a minimum of 50 actual instrument hours).
- The role requires flexibility to work assigned night, day, and overnight shifts and the capacity to perform duties in diverse outside weather conditions.
- Ability to perform essential ground operations, including de-icing the aircraft, assisting with towing, maneuvering the aircraft in and out of the hangar, and preparing the plane for flight.
