Fixed Wing Pilot - Medical Air Transportation
A distinguished opportunity is available for a highly skilled and dedicated Fixed Wing Pilot to join a premier medical air transportation service. This role is pivotal in providing critical air ambulance services to customers, utilizing the advanced PC12 aircraft.
The successful candidate will operate within a rigorous 14/14 shift schedule, encompassing both day and night missions. Safety is paramount, and the pilot will be an integral member of a professional team committed to upholding the highest safety standards for both crew and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the PC12 aircraft for scheduled day and night medical air transportation missions.
- Adhering strictly to all safety protocols and contributing to a culture of high safety standards.
- Preparing the aircraft for flight, which may include de-icing, assisting with aircraft towing, and maneuvering in and out of the hangar.
- Working effectively in various outside weather conditions.
- Undertaking assigned night, day, and overnight shifts as part of the 14/14 shift rotation.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Possession of a Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) or Commercial Airplane Single-Engine Land (C-ASEL) certificate.
- Commitment to obtaining an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within five years of employment.
- A valid and unexpired driver's license.
- A current FAA First-Class or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
Minimum Flight Experience
- 2,500 Total Flight Hours
- 2,000 Fixed Wing Hours
- 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours
- 500 Cross-Country Hours
- 100 Night Hours
- 75 Instrument Hours (including 50 actual instrument hours)
