Corporate Pilot
Cirrus Aircraft seeks an experienced and highly motivated Corporate Pilot to join its Flight Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to gain diverse experience across numerous departmental functions, playing a vital part in the company's mission.
Position Overview:
The Corporate Pilot's primary responsibility involves ferrying aircraft between Duluth and Knoxville to facilitate customer deliveries. Additionally, the role encompasses:
- Acting as Pilot in Command of Cirrus aircraft, conducting CFR 14 Part 91 corporate flight operations.
- Performing return-to-service flights and aircraft repositioning.
- Maintaining impeccable airmanship and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of autonomy.
- Utilizing planning resources effectively for precise flight planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhering to all industry regulations and Cirrus-established safety procedures.
- Delivering exceptional and professional customer service.
- Making sound and timely decisions regarding flight safety.
- Executing pre-flight and post-flight inspections, aircraft cleaning, fueling, and other related tasks.
- Remaining current on the latest developments in Cirrus aircraft product lines.
- Maintaining comprehensive aircraft knowledge and representing Cirrus as a model aviator.
- Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Prioritizing and ensuring flight safety through high-quality, standardized flight services.
- Adapting to changing needs and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- FAA Pilot Certificate (Required)
- Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (Required)
- Instrument Airplane (Required)
- ATP (Preferred)
- Certified Flight Instructor Airplane and Instrument (Preferred)
- Current Second-class Airman Medical Certificate or higher (Required)
- Minimum 1,250 total flight hours (Required)
- SF50 Type Rating (Required)
- Minimum 100 total hours in SF50 (Required)
- Experience in IFR in congested airspace, mountain flying, extensive IMC, international flights, and night operations (Preferred)
