Cirrus Aircraft is seeking a professional Flight Instructor to join the team at the premier Cirrus Services Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The successful candidate will provide learner-centric flight training in the iconic SR series and SF model aircraft, adhering to structured, proprietary syllabi.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, standardized flight and ground instruction in accordance with Cirrus policy and FAA standards.

Serve as Pilot in Command for corporate flight operations, including demonstration, repositioning, post-maintenance, and ferry flights.

Conduct flight reviews, proficiency checks, and assess student performance across psychomotor, cognitive, and affective domains.

Maintain meticulous training records and recommend students for FAA practical and written examinations.

Perform essential pre-flight and post-flight duties, including aircraft inspections, fueling, and maintenance of flight materials.

Ensure the highest standards of safety, customer service, and professionalism as a representative of the Cirrus brand.

Continuously advance personal knowledge regarding the Cirrus aircraft product line.
Qualifications

Current FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (Airplane Single Engine and Instrument Airplane).

Hold an FAA Pilot Certificate (Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land and Instrument Airplane).

Current Second-class Airman Medical Certificate or higher.

Experience Requirement: 1000 total instruction hours OR 750 Cirrus instruction hours.

Preferred: ATP Certificate and SF50 Type Rating.

Preferred experience: IFR in congested airspace, mountain flying, extensive IMC, international flight, and night operations.
