Position Summary
Chartright Air Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated First Officer for its Gulfstream 200 aircraft, based in Toronto. The First Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of all flights, while also contributing to the seamless execution of daily operational and client service requirements. This position requires a professional who embodies Chartright's commitment to safety, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The First Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Serving as a First Officer on the Gulfstream 200 aircraft, based out of Toronto.
- Ensuring all flight operations adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Providing support for daily operational activities during available reserve days.
- Liaising effectively with Chartright's Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams to ensure all operational and service requirements are met.
- Cultivating a collaborative atmosphere that encourages open communication, idea-sharing, and solution-oriented discussions among team members.
- Delivering exceptional direct customer service to clients, thereby enhancing their overall experience.
- Actively participating in monthly training courses and undertaking other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR rating.
- A current and valid Transport Canada Medical Certificate.
- A Canadian Radio Telephone Operator’s Certificate.
- Minimum of 1500 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 500 multi-engine Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with modern flight management systems and glass cockpits.
- A strong understanding of aviation weather phenomena, airport performance metrics, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance principles.
- Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and established Safety Management System (SMS) practices.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional client service, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The flexibility to work a variable schedule to accommodate client needs.
- Prior international flying experience, particularly in regions such as Europe and South America.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Jet or turbine time is highly preferred.
- A University degree or College diploma in Aviation.
- Previous time on type (Gulfstream 200).
