About the Role
As a First Officer at Jazz, the incumbent will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of flights. This position is an entry point into a rewarding aviation career with opportunities for advancement within Jazz and a preferential interview process with Air Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft in accordance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure passenger safety and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with the Captain and crew to maintain operational standards.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid and current Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating, meeting current instrument recency requirements.
- Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License.
- Valid Transport Canada Multi-Engine rating.
- Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical certificate.
- Completed IATRA written exam within the past two years or ATPL exams written.
- Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Hold a current passport at the time of hire.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident without restrictions.
- Permanent Residents must be able to obtain and maintain crew visa documentation for operations within the USA.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standards.
- Minimum of 500 hours of total flying time.

Preference Will Be Given To Candidates With:
- A Canadian ATPL.
- Two-crew multi-engine turbine experience.
- Total flying time exceeding the minimum requirement.
- Graduation from an Aviation College degree or diploma program.
- Commercial or military flight experience.
- Flight Management System (FMS) and/or glass cockpit experience.
- An internal Jazz referral.
