The Role of a First Officer

- A highly competitive starting salary of $67.57 per credit hour.

Qualifications
To be considered for the First Officer position, applicants must meet the following essential requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Valid and current Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating; must currently meet instrument recency requirements.
- Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License.
- Valid Transport Canada Multi-Engine Rating.
- Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Completion of the IATRA written exam within the past two years, or ATPL exams completed.
- Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- A current passport at the time of hire.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident without restrictions.
- Permanent Residents must be able to obtain and maintain crew visa documentation required for operations within the USA.
- Completion of a High School diploma.
- Candidates must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standards.
- Minimum of 500 hours total flying time.
- Applicants are requested to ensure their resume clearly outlines a detailed breakdown of flying hours (e.g., total time, multi-engine time).
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who possess qualifications beyond the basic requirements, including:
- A Canadian ATPL.
- Two-crew multi-engine turbine experience.
- Total flying time significantly exceeding the minimum requirement.
- Graduation from an Aviation College degree or diploma program.
- Commercial or military flight experience.
- Flight Management System (FMS) and/or glass cockpit experience.
- An internal Jazz referral.
